Technical Support Smart Meter Date Setting
The date is initially set at the factory and thereafter the Smart Series™ Meter automatically update the date. In the event that the date on your meter is not correct, the following procedure will allow you to set the correct date.

1. To set the date, press the [DATE] key until the display shows:
                PRINTED DATE NOT CORRECT? [E]
2. Press the [E] key and the display will show:
                SEP-06-97 SYSTEM
                . . . - . . - . . PRINT
3. Next, using the >(Rt. arrow) key ,select the month that is being
                SEP-06-97 SYSTEM
printed on the envelope ( The Wrong Month)
                NOV. - . . - . . PRINT
4. Use the numeric keypad to enter the day that is being
                SEP-06-97 SYSTEM
printed on the envelope ( The Wrong Day )
                NOV. - 13 - . . PRINT
5. Use the numeric keypad to enter the year that is being
                SEP-06-97 SYSTEM
printed on the envelope ( The Wrong Year )
                NOV. - 13 - 00 PRINT
6. Press the [DATE] key to verify the correct date
                SEP-06-97 SYSTEM
( on the meter display ). Press the (METERING} key to resume operation.
                NOV. - 13 - 00 PRINT
NOTE: If you try to set the date to an incorrect date
                INVALID DATE
( such as December 45,1995), the display will show:
                ENTERED [C}
Press the [C] Key to clear.
NOTE: If the system date is incorrect contact your Ascom dealer for support.
