Technical Support Adding Postage to the TMS Meter Electronically
Step Action Comments
1. Press the [PO] key until

{AUTOMATIC TMS START WITH [E]}

display appears
TMS resetting parameters must be set in the meter before attempting to transfer TMS funds. Funds must also already be in your account.
2. The Access Code is an optional feature that might not be set up on all meters, if not skip this step

Press [E], the following display appears

{ACCESS CODE}
This display will not appear if the access code feature has not been activated.

If required, enter the access code and complete with [E]. For security, the numbers will not show on the display.
3. The display shows:

{AMOUNT TO SET 000 000.00}

Use the numeric keys to enter the desire amount of funds to be transferred, press[E]
For example:[1] [5] [0] [0] [0] [E] This displays {AMOUNT TO SET 001 500.00}
4. The display shows

{001 500.00 CONFIRM WITH [E]}

check the amount, confirm and press [E]
To Change or clear the amount, press[C]
5. The display shows

{TMS PROCEEDING INITIALIZATION}

When the display shows

{TMS COMPLETED MESSAGE [E]}

Press [E].

TMS resetting will proceed automatically unless interrupted by pressing [C]
The display will go through several steps as the TMS process completes.

6. The descending register will now increase by the amount of funds transferred.

Meter then displays

{ACCOUNT BALANCE}

and the TMS account balance.

TMS is done, press the [MTR] key
{TMS COMPLETED MESSAGE [E]}

{ACCOUNT BALANCE XX.XXX}

TMS Account balances can be checked by calling the automated system at 1-800-248-8013 and pressing [1] when the greeting starts.

Enter the TMS account number followed by the # sign when asked... the account balance will be given. Or you can do a $0.00 loading of funds.
